Ski resorts across Canada are struggling with warm weather, limiting the number of runs

open. On Wednesday, Ontario's Blue Mountain had only one of its 11 runs open, Global

Blue Mountain has invested in snowmaking in 2023. The resort had 30,000 guests on Christmas Day.

Quebec's Mont Tremblant ski resort had all its lifts open on Wednesday. The Edge had only one of its seven runs open, and Versant Soleil had two of its 15.

Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia, had 18 of its 27 lifts open, with many of the lifts that were open having about half of their runs available.

Apex Mountain Resort, British Columbia, reported significantly fewer guests than last year.
