The Ottawa Police Department (OPS) is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a bank robbery on January 10 in the 700 block of Baseline Road.
According to police, the suspect entered the bank at around 2:05 p.m. wielding a black handgun and demanding money. He then went behind the teller counters and left the building on foot with an unspecified amount of cash.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
Police describe the suspect as being approximately 178 cm (5’10”) tall with a medium build. He was wearing an olive winter down jacket with black sleeves, dark pants, black boots, a balaclava, ski goggles and was carrying a black duffel bag.
