Born to Offend Lamborghini: Hennessey H1000 Based on Cadillac Escalade-V Unveiled

The American tuning studio Hennessey Performance continues to practice with the heavy frame SUV Cadillac Escalade of the fifth generation: in the Hennessey H1000 version, its acceleration dynamics have finally been brought to the level of supercars.

Hennessey already offers a compressor upgrade for the "fifth" Escalade with a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 (factory index L87), allowing it to increase its output to the engine of the top version of the Escalade-V. Now Hennessey offers an upgrade for the Escalade-V, or rather, turns it into the Hennessey H1000, in which the LT4 engine is revved up to 1019 hp and 1196 Nm.

The main increase in performance is provided by the upgraded supercharger complete with a new heat exchanger. A new custom camshaft and crankcase ventilation system are installed. The cylinder heads have been comprehensively upgraded to accommodate new valves and springs, new rocker arms and tappets, as well as more efficient fuel injectors. The intake and exhaust systems have also been upgraded to accommodate the increased power, the exhaust manifold is made of stainless steel. The 10-speed hydromechanical automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system remain unchanged.

The Hennessey H1000 accelerates to 60 mph (96.56 km/h) in 3.6 s.

The price of the Hennessey H1000 has not been announced, it is only known that the American studio will produce only 100 copies in pre-restyling bodies for the 2023-2024 model years.
