Recently, photos of camouflaged samples of the flagship Korean crossover of the new generation were published on the Internet, which became a reason for us to imagine how it will look.
The mid-size Palisade crossover of the first and only generation so far was presented in November 2018 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It became a production version of the HDC-2 Grandmaster concept, demonstrated in the summer of the same year.
The crossover will receive large blocks of headlights, built into the bumper, and above them along the hood, most likely, there will be an LED strip of daytime running lights. The flagship Hyundai crossover will lose one of the characteristic elements of the design - wide pillars behind the rear doors, made in the color of the body. The side glazing will become more strict in shape, and its upper border is made almost horizontal. It is quite possible that the door handles will be retractable, in keeping with the latest fashion.
As for the rear, here, for now, vertical blocks of lights and a license plate niche, which will remain in its place, can be seen through the camouflage.
It is expected that the crossover will be built on a new platform. The current SUV on the American market is offered with a V6 3.8 GDI gasoline "aspirated" (295 hp), which works in tandem with an eight-speed "automatic".
The drive can be either front or all-wheel drive.
