But this time, those planning to visit Europe may have to reconsider their plans.
The Canadian government has published a list of countries with a high level of terrorist threat.
For example, in the United Kingdom, there is a risk of violent incidents in public places, such as knife attacks, car bombings and bombings.
Across the country, but particularly in London, potential targets could be government buildings, houses of worship and transport hubs.
Tourist sites, restaurants and hotels are also on the list.
Caution is advised, especially during sporting events, religious holidays and political events.
Similar warnings apply to the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Denmark,
Sweden, Germany and France, where the terrorism threat level is described as “growing”.
And although Turkey, which attracts a large number of tourists, is not formally a European country, the list includes provinces, visiting which represents a particular danger.
