Following the climate summit in Dubai, the Trudeau government has taken the next decisive step in combating climate change.

This time by demanding a limit on the amount of methane gas released into the atmosphere by cows, which is formed in their intestines as a result of digesting feed. It turns out that we simply did not realize that this is 80 times (!) more than the climate hazard of carbon monoxide, entering the atmosphere.

It is not even clear how humanity manages to survive, coexisting for thousands of years next to these dangerous animals...

Last week, the feds published a draft protocol "on reducing enteric methane emissions from cattle." As usual, this was preceded by a pseudo-scientific publication in one of the journals, the author of which claimed that “methane from the emissions of approximately 75,000 cows in an Alberta feedlot is the 11th largest source of gas after oil and gas production.”
