Robert Vides, 36, was fatally shot Feb. 19 on Presland Road in Overbrook. Judith Brennan, 45, has been charged with second-degree murder.

Ottawa police said paramedics responded around 4:30 a.m., but the victim died at the scene.

Brennan is scheduled to appear in court. Police have not released details for two days because the death is being treated as suspicious pending a medical examiner's report.
