The brochure for the new Ram 1200 pickup truck "leaked" onto the Internet back in May. But only now has it been officially presented.
The fresh Ram 1200 differs from its relatives in the design of the front end: it has its own radiator grille. Of course, the emblems and nameplates have also been replaced. In Mexico, the pickup is offered in several modifications. The basic Ram 1200 Tradesman comes with a single-row or double-row cabin, such a truck has an unpainted front bumper. More expensive versions of Bighorn and Laramie are exclusively four-door, they have a body kit in the color of the body, plus a decorative insert on the grille is generously covered with chrome, and on the sides of it are beveled stripes of running lights. Inside, the Ram pickup generally repeated the models from Peugeot and Fiat.
The list of equipment for the rich Ram 1200 Bighorn includes fog lights, rear parking sensors, a multimedia system with a 10-inch tablet that rises above the front panel, a rear-view camera, and six airbags. The top-end Laramie version has a leather interior, climate control, all-round cameras, front parking sensors, and a lane-departure warning system.
There is one engine - a 2.4-liter gasoline turbo four with 210 hp (for the Peugeot Landtrek, for example, diesel engines are also available). The Ram 1200 Tradesman is equipped with a six-speed manual, while the Bighorn and Laramie are offered with a six-speed automatic. Only the top version has a rigidly connected all-wheel drive, while the other versions are rear-wheel drive.
