A completely new Mazda crossover has been presented. What is interesting about it Mazda has presented a new hybrid crossover Mazda CX-70 for the USA and Canada. The North American division of Mazda has presented Mazda CX-70 — the newest crossover of the Japanese brand, created specifically for the North American market.

Its sales in the USA and Canada will begin in the spring of 2024, the company's press service reported.

Mazda CX-70 is a mid-size hybrid crossover. In fact, it is a five-seat version of the previously released Mazda CX-90, available exclusively with hybrid power plants.

As with the Mazda CX-90, buyers can choose from two powertrain options: the e-SKYACTIV G3.3 mild hybrid based on a 3.3-liter inline turbo six with a 48-volt starter generator and the e-SKYACIV PHEV plug-in hybrid, which combines a 2.5-liter inline four and an electric motor. Externally, the Mazda CX-70 is very similar to the Mazda CX-90. The exclusive front and rear bumpers, new 21-inch aluminum wheels and characteristic black accents add originality to the new model. The car's interior is finished in deep burgundy tones.
