We are excited to introduce a unique opportunity to participate in the Ottawa Fall Festival, taking place on October 21 at the Lansdowne Park Horticulture building. This event draws more than 3000 participants who come each year to listen to local singers, watch traditional dances, savour delitious dishes from various ethnic cuisines - Ukrainian, Georgian, Russian, Moldovan, Greek and others - as well as to buy some souvenirs or become more acquainted with local businesses.
Our festival is not a commercial event. We, the organizers of the festival, do not aim to make money, our goal is to create a community for people. We help local businesses find their customers. We help artists find their audiences. We help everyone learn about quality services and products in Ottawa and Gatineau. Meet local musicians, singers, and artists.
We believe that this type of events benefits all of us, the residents of our city. The goal of our festival is to help local communities of immigrants, to feel in Canada like in our common home, where all cultures and traditions are respected. We ourselves came to Canada from Ukraine, Russia, and other Eastern European countries. And we happily work together as one team.
We believe that communities can scale good ideas to incredible heights, that 1+1 should be more than two. Together we create a new comfortable reality for everyone, where being part of different communities, finding help, support and new friends within the community, building your own communities of friends and like-minded people - is a common part of everyone's life.
We truly believe in the power of community, where people unite for a common purpose. Our goal is to create a comfortable space where people can meet, exchange products, services, ideas, and energy. We deeply respect the traditions and cultures our participants and visitors belong to, and we value the contribution of each person to the overall diverse cultural landscape of Ottawa.
