After a recount, the Terrebonne riding in Quebec flipped from the Bloc Québécois to the Liberals by just one vote.

Liberal Tatiana Auguste was initially declared the winner, but after the results were verified, the riding went to incumbent Bloc MP Nathalie Sinclair-Dezganier by 44 votes. A recount scheduled for May 7 changed the outcome: Auguste by 23,352 votes, Sinclair-Dezganier by 23,351.

The recount took into account 74 additional valid ballots. The Liberals now hold 170 seats in the House of Commons, while the Bloc holds 21.

Recounts are also scheduled in ridings in Ontario and Newfoundland, where the gap between the candidates is also just a few votes.
