In his first overseas visit as prime minister, Mark Carney hopes to deepen and develop trade ties with Britain and France, calling Canada a “reliable, trusted and strong partner.”

Carney met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Monday, with the two delivering joint opening remarks.
